Fire Department

The Union Township Fire Department has proudly served our community since its establishment in 1990. With a growing population of nearly 50,000 residents and a thriving business sector, our commitment to safety and emergency response has led us to expand to six strategically located fire stations. Our dedicated team of full-time cross-trained firefighters and Emergency Medical Service (EMS) personnel is available 24/7, ensuring the highest level of protection and care for our residents and businesses.

In recognition of our unwavering dedication to excellence, the department has maintained accreditation from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International since 2004.

We are thrilled to announce that on July 1, 2023, the Insurance Services Office (ISO) upgraded our Public Protection Rating (PPR) from 03/3X to an impressive 02/2X classification. This remarkable achievement underscores our continued commitment to enhancing the safety of our community, and it reflects the exceptional efforts of our team in providing top-notch fire protection and emergency services.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we strive to make Union Township safer for all its residents and businesses.
