Union Twp Police Officers and the Clermont County Narcotics Unit Police Department
This note of thanks was sent to UTPD’s web site after Thursdays, 01/17/2008 early morning warrant service blitz in the Piccadilly/Southern Trace area of Union Township.
I want to thank you and all the agencies involved in Thursday mornings raid on the Piccadilly area. This area was in great need of a crack down. It is comforting to a few owners and residents of the various buildings that behavior like that of those who were arrested will not be tolerated here any longer. I look forward to more patrols as well as evictions of those criminal elements to help in turning this area around. Again thank you and all involved in helping to make this area a respectable area to reside again
U.T.P.D. Honor Guard Police Department
The Amelia Business Association wrote Chief Zinser to express their sincere gratitude for the presence of the U.T.P.D. Honor Guard at the 2007 Amelia Christmas Parade. "The parade means so much more when there is a real Honor Guard and American flag at the beginning." per Dave Hencey, president of the Amelia Business Association.
P.O. Hathorn Police Department
Mr. Marty Heath wrote Chief Zinser to express her gratitude for Officer Hathorn’s assistance in finding and notifying her daughter of a sudden death in the family. The family had tried all other means to contact their daughter and was unsuccessful. They saw a police cruiser, pulled over and asked if he could help. The officer helped them get in contact with Union Township and Officer Hathorn was able to assist the family in their time of need
P.O. Grammel Police Department
On 5/15/08 Mr. Wayne Spears called Chief Zinser to compliment Officer Grammel for his professional and caring demeanor while handling Mr. Spears’ wife’s auto accident. Mrs. Spear’s felt Officer Grammel’s actions had a calming affect on all of those involved in the accident.
P.O. Wilson Police Department
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lieutenant Lewis Roberts wrote Chief Zinser to express his department’s sincere appreciation to Officer Wilson. Officer Wilson assisted the homicide detectives on a Las Vegas Metro homicide follow up while they were in Union Township.
P.O. Kresser and Sgt. Williams Police Department
Greg Hutton of Arbor Circle wrote Chief Zinser to express his appreciation of the noted officer’s professionalism in handling a call for service that involved him. The officers "treated the whole situation fairly and never jumped to conclusion". The officer was "calm, intelligent and showed tremendous judgment and reasoning." Mr. Hutton ended his letter to the chief by stating,” You do your department and yourselves proud!"
Union Twp Police Officers Police Department
Just wanted to send a thank you to all of the Union Township Police who participated in keeping ST THOMAS MORE'S festival a safe, and orderly place to be. I walk at VETS park every day and have gotten to know some of the officers. It’s great to live in a community where we have such a great Police force, and very friendly and kind too. Thanks to ALL of you for EVERYTHING you do.
Most sincerely, Debby Weber
P.O. Bullock and P.O. Bobb Police Department
A Union Township resident wrote Chief Zinser to compliment the actions of Officers Bullock and Bobb. On August 8th the above noted officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at S.R. 74 and S.R. 32. The resident commented that “both officers conducted themselves in a professional manner checking for injuries and immediately taking control of the scene. All parties were treated with respect. It is reassuring to know we have officers of this caliber serving Union Township.”
Union Twp Police Officers Police Department
I just wanted to thank your police department for throwing a really good National Night Out at Veterans Park Tuesday night....my children and I had a wonderful time! I think it's so generous that your police department devotes the time, effort, and money to do something so nice for the community. I'm especially appreciative that my three children were able to visit with police officers, fire fighters, and other emergency personnel: I believe that my children will benefit from the favorable experience they had... Thanks so much! Kara Barnette, Union Township resident
P.O. Koszo Police Department
“I just wanted to drop a note to whoever it concerns about my experience last week. I was involved in an accident, to which Officer Koszo responded, and I would just like to pass along to his superiors how efficiently and pleasantly Officer Koszo handled the incident. He was extremely prompt to arrive to the area my car was located (I was on my way to work, so I very much appreciate that), very courteous, and right to the point getting my information and doing his job very well, in my opinion. I just wanted to pass along some praise and a big thank you!"
Sgt. Rees Police Department
I was in last year’s Citizens Police Academy and Sgt. Rees allowed me the pleasure of coming to your class last night. I was very impressed with what I got to see and really regret having to leave early. I hope you do this in next year’s class so I can see the whole thing. It looked like you put a lot of time and effort into the presentation and it paid off.
Also I want to thank you and your team for the work they did with catching the guys that broke into Sports Page. You probably already know that Mr. Bice got 12 years and Mr. Rich got 7 years. It feels good to know you caught them and to see the conviction.
Thanks
Randy Stotler
