2011 Red Cross Babysitting Classes

 

The Union Township Fire Department has set the dates for the 2011 Red Cross Babysitting Classes as follows: Saturday, March 19; Saturday, June 18; Saturday, Sept. 17; and Saturday, Dec. 3. These classes will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Station 51, Clough Pike and Glen Este-Withamsville Road. The classes are open to young adults from 11 to 15, but class size is limited. Registration will open up as time draws nearer to each class.  Watch for more information.

Neighborhood Watch Seminar

U.T.P.D. to offer Neighborhood Watch seminar April 26 The Union Township Police Department will host a Neighborhood Watch seminar at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, in the Queen City Room, located on the lower level of the Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road. In addition to explaining how to start a Neighborhood Watch, the presentation will include useful information on observing and reporting crime, tips to avoid becoming a victim of crime, and valuable steps you can take to crime-proof your home and neighborhood. It's America's Night Out Against Crime!
