Union Township is a thriving community on the outskirts of Cincinnati, located along the Ohio 32 and Interstate 275 corridor in northwestern Clermont County, and acting as the county’s gateway.

According to 2010 Federal Census figures, Union Township has a population of 46,416. Income levels are not available at this writing, but as of the 2000 Federal Census, the median income was an estimated $52,172. The township was the first in Clermont County to have an aggregate taxable valuation, in 2005, of more than $1 billion, and it boasts the largest school district in Clermont County. Union Township continues to be one of the most livable communities in the Midwest.

Booming residential and commercial development require an infrastructure that is second to none. Through sound and conservative fiscal practice, the Board of Trustees and Fiscal Officer manage a General Fund that shows steady growth each year.

In July, 2004, Union Township opened the doors to its Civic Center, which houses township administration, the West Clermont Local School District administration, Clermont Senior Services, a United States Post Office, a gymnasium, a 400-car Park and Ride, six meeting rooms, and an amphitheatre that hosts a yearly Summer Concert Series.

From managed responsible growth to the distinction of being the only township in the United States to have its police, fire and communications departments internationally accredited, township administration continues to raise the bar, and fully expects the service department to receive accreditation in the summer of 2011, achieving a grand slam in service standards of excellence.
