Union Township is an unincorporated political subdivision located in western Clermont County in the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area. One of the fastest growing communities in Ohio, Union Township provides full-time safety services which include police, fire, and EMS.

Formed in 1965, the Police Department has grown from its original staff of one part-time officer to a 68 member, full service, internationally accredited agency.

The agency is commanded by Chief Terry Zinser and is functionally divided into three command bureaus: Operations, Administrative Services, and Staff Services. Information on agency structure and operations may be found by exploring the Bureaus link on the top navigation menu, or by viewing our organizational chart.
