1st Public Open House Scheduled for Tina Drive Extension Project

CLERMONT COUNTY, OHIO – The Clermont County Transportation Improvement District (CCTID), in cooperation with the Clermont County Engineer’s Office, Union Township, and Ohio Department of Transportation, will host the 1st public open house to obtain public input for the Tina Drive Extension project. The open house will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at the Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road.

 

The Tina Drive Extension project will evaluate options to connect Tina Drive, in the area between Bells Lane and Summerside Drive, to the local roadway network. The new roadway is intended to provide improved access and connectivity for the surrounding residential neighborhoods which currently use the Bells Lane intersection at SR-32.  This intersection will be removed by ODOT as a part of the I-275/SR-32 Interchange reconstruction project.

 

Exhibits of the study area and plans showing the I-275/SR-32 Interchange reconstruction project will be on display at the meeting and representatives from the County, ODOT, Union Township and the project team will be available to answer questions and gather comments prior to developing preliminary engineering concepts for the project. The meeting will be conducted in an “open house” format and the public is welcome to attend any time during the two-hour period. Comment sheets will be provided, which can be placed in a drop-off box at the meeting or mailed to the CCTID by March 10, 2010. Exhibits, handouts and comment forms will remain available for review at the Union Township Civic Center until March 10, 2010 to accommodate those who may not be able to attend this 1st Public Open House.
