Eastgate South Drive Road Closure

Recommendation of Patrick J. Manger, County Engineer, with the concurrence of David L. Spinney, County Administrator, to authorize an emergency road closure to through traffic on Eastgate South Drive in Union Township beginning Friday, 09/25/09, and the road will remain closed until further notice due to repeated overflowing of the public road caused by the failure of a privately owned and maintained storm water system, and, as a result of weather conditions that cause the adjoining detention pond to overflow without warning, public safety dictates that the portion of the road that becomes inundated remain closed until the private system is restored to functionality, with the understanding that the appropriate barriers and detour signs will be maintained during the afore stated temporary detour along an alternate route by the appropriate law enforcement agency therefore pursuant to Section 5543.17 of the Ohio Revised Code.
