Military Order of the Purple Heart
Sgt. Michael Mather invites Purple Heart recipients to join the newly-created Union Township Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. The first meeting is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, in the Queen City Room at the Union Township Civic Center, 4350 Aicholtz Road. Most meetings will be the second Wednesday of each month. Come join others who have been wounded in battle and find a place to share and belong! Please call Sgt. Senior Services Annual AuctionClermont Senior Services Inc. will have its annual auction, Art, Antiques & Collectibles, at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, at Receptions Banquet Center, Eastgate. The silent auction, social hour and appetizers start at 5 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Auctioneer Joel T. Wilson conducts the live auction. Cost is $45 per person. Dress is business casual and a cash bar is available. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 each or three for $20.
