The Union Township Civic Center opened July 24, 2004, exactly one year and one day from the groundbreaking ceremony. The Civic Center was financed with government-issued bonds that required no new taxes. The Civic Center is home to the Union Township Board of Trustees and administrative offices as well as the West Clermont Local School District administrative offices, a U.S. Post Office, a branch of the Clermont Senior Services, six public meeting rooms, a gymnasium, and an amphitheatre.
