In pursuant to section 5543.17 of the Ohio Revised Code, the Clermont County Engineer's Office has determined that a road closure is necessary for the Aicholtz Rd connector project, and that it is impractical to construct a temporary highway/culvert and that a temporary detour is required. A road closure has been scheduled at the intersection of Old SR 74 on Aicholtz Road/Rust Lane. The road will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, 1-3-17 through Friday 4-28-17. All residents will have access to Aicholtz Road from Eastgate Boulevard. Midas and Hertz will have a temporary driveway on Old SR 74. The length of the detour is approximately 2.94 miles. All advanced warning and detour signs will be erected and maintained for this project. Below is the recommended detour.
The Aicholtz Road Connector will reestablish a vital link in the Eastgate area's roadway network by reopening a portion of Aicholtz Road that was disconnected when I-275 was originally built. For more information about the benefits of this project, click here.
